About Prof. Arnold. H.Einhorn
A doyen among the Pediatricians of the North America (1923 – 2020 ) and a Holocaust survivor. Had mentored nearly 1500 Paediatricians including the Medical Advisor of this Institution (1965 – 1968 ) during his nearly 50 years of his professional career. It was initially at the hospitals affiliated to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and later on at the National Children’s Hospital, Washington., D C ., U S A.
A polymath with proficiency in several European languages and in diverse fields, was an outstanding teacher and clinician par excellence.
The Faculty at the National Children’s, at the time of his passing away said that “the world has become a bit darker.” This guest oration was initiated in the year 1994 by his mentee Dr.M.Ramaswamy to commemorate his visits to this Institution with primary objective being to keep the staff abreast of the recent developments in the field of Pediatric Medicine.
